First Responders Children's Foundation

First Responders Children’s Foundation provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. First Responders Children’s Foundation also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large. SERVPRO of Kingwood/Humble partnered with First Responders Foundation to help distribute toys to children less fortunate this holiday season. We would like to thank our sponsors for the donation of 3 palettes of toys and SERVPRO Team Meacham who helped make this event possible.

First Responders Award

We were honored to present Ralph Abercia with the First Responders Award. Ralph enlisted in the Army the day he turned 18 after being turned down at the age of 17. He spent time in London, German, and Tunisia. After his many years of dedication to the Army, Ralph made it through college with the GI bill and became a successful lawyer and real estate developer in Houston. He still goes to the office every day and runs his company at 96 years old!
